About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Wildwood at Main in Sun Prairie, WI. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our multifamily properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with property managers, residents, and other stakeholders to resolve maintenance-related issues and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance operations and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, construction management) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Proven track record of success in maintenance operations, with a strong emphasis on customer service, safety, and quality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb multiple flights of stairs, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
