Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Industry Specialist. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a strong understanding of the insurance industry and carrier plan options to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with agents and clients to resolve questions and issues in a timely manner.
  • Process insurance applications, including new clients, existing clients, new employees, and changes, ensuring all required documents are completed and submitted.
  • Update employee census for individual and group clients.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Work to resolve claim, billing, and eligibility issues that may arise.
  • Request and run proposals for insurance carriers for quoting and offers.
Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably with an insurance license or HR experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite. A high school diploma is required, with a college education and insurance health/life license preferred.
