Dishwashing Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Dishwashing Specialist at Brookdale Senior Living, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a dish washing machine to clean dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and other food service equipment. This includes ensuring all food prep and service areas are kept sanitary, emptying garbage, and sweeping/mopping kitchen floors. You will also be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a dish washing machine to clean dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and other food service equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen facilities, including food prep and service areas.
• Empty garbage and sweep/mop kitchen floors.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.

Requirements:

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
