Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and develop assigned accounts to meet customer needs
  • Develop e-commerce and other business opportunities for assigned accounts, providing quotes and closing sales
  • Establish and maintain close-working relationships with customers at all levels
  • Introduce Hawthorne's parts and service capabilities to all customers
  • Make routine sales calls on customers in assigned markets and maintain a quoting process for parts and service
  • Assist customers in selecting programs that will ensure maximum life cycle of their equipment
  • Provide coordination between customers and various departments to provide best possible service
  • Maintain customer contact information, sales call reports, and weekly call planners
  • Develop sales goals and objectives for each market
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • PC skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and self-starter
  • Organized and good planner
  • Ability to set and meet goals
  • At least 5 years of experience in product support sales and service environment, with customer service experience preferred
