  • Organize and facilitate workshops covering essential financial management skills, tailored to different stages of the military lifecycle.
  • Respond to inquiries for age-appropriate financial education classes or seminars.
  • Utilize virtual counseling tools and secure communication methods to provide support, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
  • Adhere to Department of Defense protocols in managing sensitive situations.
  • Engage with leadership and participate in regular supervision meetings to discuss trends and challenges faced by service members.
  • Contribute to ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; candidates with an associate degree and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial counseling is essential.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess fluency in English.
  • Ability to obtain a favorable adjudicated Tier 1 investigation.
  • Certification in one of the following is mandatory: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is between $58,440 and $93,500, depending on individual qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health and wellness package.
