Job Summary

American Neighborhood Mortgage Acceptance Company LLC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Mortgage Contact Officer. The selected candidate will engage with potential borrowers, guiding them through the initial stages of the mortgage process. This role is essential in generating leads for our Licensed Loan Officers and ensuring a seamless transition for clients seeking mortgage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete a comprehensive 20-hour NMLS training course and successfully pass the NMLS examination.
  • Engage with prospective borrowers via phone and other communication channels.
  • Facilitate the transfer of qualified leads to Licensed Loan Officers.
  • Schedule follow-up calls with potential clients to ensure continued engagement.
  • Utilize our telephony system for effective communication, including leaving voicemails and sending text messages.
  • Manage leads through our Lead Management System, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking of prospective clients.
  • Employ provided scripts to enhance communication with borrowers and address their inquiries.
  • Assist in overcoming initial objections from borrowers and provide necessary information.
  • Collaborate with management to review recorded calls for continuous improvement and coaching opportunities.
  • Complete the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Training Program, covering essential topics such as products, pricing, guidelines, and income calculations.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in customer service or sales is advantageous.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to handle challenging situations.

Compensation
The Mortgage Contact Officer position offers a competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for overtime and performance-based bonuses upon transitioning to a Mortgage Loan Originator role. The potential for significant earnings exists within the first 90 days of employment.

Work Environment
This role may require extended periods of sitting and using office equipment, which can lead to physical strain.
