Key Responsibilities:

As a Gummy Production Technician, your primary duties will include:

  • Setting up and operating gummy production equipment, including kettles, depositors, and cooling systems.
  • Measuring and weighing raw ingredients in accordance with the Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR).
  • Mixing and adding raw materials to ensure a smooth production flow of gummy mixtures.
  • Conducting in-process quality checks and visually inspecting gummies for compliance with quality standards.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Operating and maintaining the tray washing machinery.
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations related to production yields and ingredient measurements.
  • Documenting all production activities accurately, including batch records and labeling.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of quality assurance principles. Your organizational skills, proactive mindset, and effective communication abilities will be essential in maintaining compliance and ensuring the highest quality in our products.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, including safety policies and quality standards.
  • Strong focus on quality with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in food or nutraceutical manufacturing, or a mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and assist colleagues with process verification.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentage calculations.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training.
