Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cerrowire. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial production systems, including heavy equipment, electrical systems, and control panels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including heavy machinery, electrical systems, and control panels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures.
  • Work with outside vendors and contractors to implement equipment and facility repairs as needed.
  • Utilize analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to examine, repair, and/or detect issues with machinery or equipment for repair.
  • Inspect, observe, and examine mechanical devices in operation to determine root cause of problem and if necessary, dismantle or adjust devices to repair to specifications.
  • Provide recommendations or modifications to processes and procedures to increase machine efficiency and uptime.
  • Prioritize daily activities to ensure completion of responsibilities and to keep the facility running.
  • Will work extra hours as required to finish repairs and put equipment back into service on occasion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Apprenticeship or associate degree preferred or certificate of training to demonstrate qualifications.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
