Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our production team at TreeHouse Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including troubleshooting and correcting issues to minimize downtime.
  • Plant Floor Support: Respond to breakdowns and failures on the plant floor, working collaboratively with production teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Tasks: Perform electrical, plumbing, electronics, air, and water tasks as needed to maintain equipment and ensure safe operation.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on gearbox seals and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure adherence to food safety, food defense, and food quality standards in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with production teams and other stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Environmental Factors: Work in high ambient temperatures and perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, and climbing.
