Role Responsibilities:
As a Gummy Manufacturing Equipment Operator, your primary duties will include:
- Setting up and operating gummy production line equipment, including kettles, depositors, and cooling tunnels.
- Adhering to general cGMPs and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Measuring and weighing raw materials in accordance with Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR).
- Mixing raw materials and ensuring proper process flow of gummy blends.
- Conducting in-process measurements and visually inspecting gummies for quality assurance.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and production areas.
- Operating and maintaining tray washing machinery.
- Performing basic calculations such as addition, subtraction, and yield percentages.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, including manufacturing batch records and logbooks.
- Working safely in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong background in quality assurance and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and SOPs. Your excellent organizational skills, proactive approach, and effective communication abilities will ensure top-tier quality and compliance in our products.
Experience Requirements:
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to follow written instructions, including Manufacturing Batch Records and Safety policies.
- Quality-focused with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in food or nutraceutical manufacturing, or possess mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide process verification for colleagues.
- High School Diploma/Certificate; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
