Surveying Project Lead

CES Group Engineers, LLP, a recognized multi-disciplinary firm serving various regions, is in search of a Surveying Project Lead with a minimum of five (5) years of pertinent experience to enhance our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute survey calculations and oversee the daily functions of field survey teams, while managing resources and budgets for multiple simultaneous projects, including but not limited to boundary, ALTA, topographic, design, and construction surveying tasks.

· Organize and prioritize assignments, coordinating both field and office surveying operations.

· Conduct quality control assessments of field survey data and prepare comprehensive survey documentation and drawings.

· Engage with clients and, on occasion, travel to project or client locations.

· Collaborate with the work of other professionals.

· This role primarily operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office technology.

Qualifications:

· An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is preferred, though not mandatory.

· A Licensed Professional Land Surveying License (PLS) in North Carolina or South Carolina is advantageous, but not essential.

· A minimum of five (5) years of land surveying experience is required, showcasing proficiency in field surveying techniques and office practices.

· Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey software is necessary. Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and MicroStation is a plus.

· Strong interpersonal skills along with well-developed oral and written communication abilities.

· Capability to effectively collaborate with the Geomatics Division Manager, project team members, clients, and office personnel.
