Job Title: RF Hardware Engineer

At Relative Dynamics Inc., we're seeking a skilled RF Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing new capabilities for our tracking radars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new RF hardware systems for tracking radars
  • Perform complex system modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide technical solutions
  • Plan, conduct, and assist project managers in executing engineering projects
  • Coordinate technical support personnel for assigned projects
  • Analyze, develop, and implement approaches to meet customer requirements
  • Serve as an interface for project information to internal management and customers
  • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Provide expertise to restore operational systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM-related field
  • 2+ years of relevant radar engineering experience, including:
  • Experience working with RF components, such as local oscillators, doublers, mixers, and attenuators
  • Working knowledge of monopulse radar tracking systems and/or shipboard radar systems
  • Experience working with high-power tube and solid-state RF amplifiers
  • Experience with C-band pulsed Doppler tracking and wideband coherent imaging systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with legacy range radars (AN/FPQ-6, AN/FPQ-14, AN/FPS-16, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of antennas and antenna tracking systems
  • Experience with digital interface design, including interface modules, cable/wire types, and connector systems
  • Experience with hardware systems integration and testing
  • Experience providing inputs for engineering project proposals within defined time constraints
