Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to support the modernization and upgrade of the Launch and Test Range Systems located at Space Launch Delta 30 Western Range and Space Launch Delta 45 Eastern Range. The successful candidate will apply engineering expertise to design, develop, test, and transition a new lightning warning system to support space launches.

Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering principles to support the modernization and upgrade of the Launch and Test Range Systems.
  • Research and advise on the selection of vendors, technologies, and solutions options to accomplish range modernization goals.
  • Support the procurement, configuration, installation, and testing of equipment/solutions to accomplish range modernization goals.
  • Support the creation of documentation necessary to accomplish range modernization goals.
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, or Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience applying principles and techniques of engineering while performing research, analysis, hardware/software/systems design, testing, or operations.
  • Capability to apply innovative techniques in investigating solutions and designing range improvement/modernization projects.
  • Capability to support the design, development, test, and implementation of solutions.
  • Capability to work independently, participate on teams, and lead a task, project, or team.
  • Experience supporting engineering projects for DoD customers.
