Job Summary

The Client Services Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining seamless communication between BostonGene and its clients, ensuring the efficient flow of orders from initiation to receipt of lab reports. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the clinical research, pathology, or diagnostic industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tissue Procurement Operations: Collaborate with pathology send-out teams to maintain accurate turnaround times and develop training manuals and workflows.
  • Client Support: Provide assistance to clients with test placement, collecting missing documents and information, order management, test results quality control, and delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish a consistent communication schedule with care teams, pathology send-out teams, and BostonGene teams to exchange client feedback, success stories, challenges, and best practices.
  • Asset Management: Maintain all assigned company assets, including laptop computers and iPhone.
  • Complexity Support: Assist physicians and care teams with the complexity of ordering and interpreting the BG platform, and QC report quality/accuracy, which may require access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in pathology tissue procurement or in a pathology lab is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Independent Decision-Making: Independent decision-making skills are necessary for this role.
  • Business Acumen: A general understanding of business policies and practices is required.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organization: A high degree of personal organization and ability to multitask are essential.
  • Software Proficiency: The ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of proprietary software programs is required.
