Principal Position Navigation and Timing Systems Engineer

MITRE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Position Navigation and Timing Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Navigation and Timing Systems team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced navigation and timing systems for various government agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on navigation and timing systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in navigation and timing systems, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improve project outcomes.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or physics.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in navigation and timing systems, with a strong background in systems engineering and project management.
- Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Skills: Strong technical expertise in navigation and timing systems, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
