Job Title: Senior Financial Accounting Project Director

Integrated Finance and Accounting Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Accounting Project Director to lead our team of accounting professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and oversight on all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, accounting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of financial reports, including annual financial statements, quarterly reports, and monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IRS regulations.
  • Accounting and Analysis: Provide expert analysis and guidance on financial data, including revenue reporting, expense analysis, and financial statement preparation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects and tasks.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with IRS regulations, OMB circulars, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree can substitute)
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in federal financial management, with 8+ years of experience in SAP Federal Financial Management and Procurement software
  • Skills: Proven experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, and team leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of IRS Financial Management System
  • Knowledge of IRS Accounting Environment and Tax Processing
