Responsibilities

Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is in search of a Residential Manager to enhance our dedicated team. Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals while enjoying a fulfilling career.

This position necessitates a successful background check, fingerprinting, and employment verification.

Mountain Youth Academy is strategically located in a region that is accessible and convenient.

We operate a 120-bed residential treatment facility focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various behavioral health challenges faced by our adolescent patients.

As part of our ongoing success and expansion, we are looking for qualified candidates for our Residential Manager positions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include, but are not limited to, the following)

POSITION SUMMARY:


Ensures effective management and coordination of activities during assigned shifts and aids in supervising all direct care personnel to guarantee the safety and security of the facility at all times.


Acts as a vital member of the program team, observing and reporting on physical and behavioral symptoms under the guidance of the Director of Residential Services or Assistant Director of Residential Services.

Serves as a role model for both staff and students in appearance and conduct.

Implements appropriate interventions as directed by the Director of Residential Services.

Utilizes proper HWC techniques, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of student and staff safety. Conducts debriefings as necessary.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

An AA degree is required along with 1 year of residential experience, or 3 years of residential experience is mandatory.
