Job Summary

MYSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our residential program sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, energetic, and positive environment for at-risk youth living in our residential programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Residential Program Supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of assigned program sites
  • Monitor activities of youth and residential staff, ensuring adequate resources are available for smooth operation
  • Coordinate staff schedules, procure materials, and maintain facilities to ensure a secure and comfortable environment
  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to ensure program continuity
  • Assist in investigating alleged employee misconduct and partner with Human Resources and the Program Manager in employee relations matters
  • Monitor medication delivery and ensure completion of required shift documentation
  • Assist with rotating on-call duties and engage with youth about their goals and interests
  • Coach youth on independent living skills and ensure completion of all required documentation
  • Review and ensure accuracy of RA-completed documentation, including shift logs and communication logs
  • Consult with and report to the Program Supervisor regularly to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Alignment with MYSI's mission, vision, and values
  • Working knowledge of Client Rights and Prevention of Abuse and Neglect
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Investment in fostering healthy and effective communication in diverse environments
  • Significant experience working with at-risk youth and youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Ability to recognize and de-escalate escalated moments
  • Experience facilitating programs for adolescents and excellent computer skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to administer CPR, First Aid, and CPI
  • Meet DCFS background and transportation requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with LGBTQIA+ youth and other communities facing disparities
  • Experience facilitating programs for adolescents
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
