Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our enteral nutrition team at UNC Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and dietitians to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients requiring enteral nutrition support.
- Collaborate with the enteral nutrition team to ensure timely placement of feeding tubes and provide ongoing monitoring of tube position, patency, and continued need.
- Work with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and support patients in managing their nutritional needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery.
- Develop and lead community outreach programs to promote awareness and education on enteral nutrition and related topics.
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina.
- Board certification if required by the Department.
- Demonstrated clinical competency, effective leadership skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
