We are looking for a CDL Heavy Machinery Operator who thrives on challenges and seeks opportunities for growth within a dynamic company. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicles in compliance with state and federal transportation regulations.
  • Safely transport loads in a timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Skillfully maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading zones, following crew signals.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, utilizing specialized equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including invoices and shipping bills, delivering them to the appropriate personnel upon completion of delivery routes.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks, reporting any malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.
  • Organize trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading configurations.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a commercial driver's license or chauffeur's license, as required by state regulations.
  • Successful completion of background and drug testing as mandated by transportation regulations.
  • Passing a DOT physical examination, as the vehicles operated exceed 10,000 lbs.
