Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of various types of heavy machinery, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize heavy machinery including bulldozers, skid steers, front-end loaders, and excavators for various construction tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work in proximity to moving machinery and perform necessary support and clean-up tasks in designated areas.

Compensation
$34.68/hour

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • A minimum of two years of experience operating heavy equipment.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and up to 100 pounds infrequently.
  • Capability to reach, handle, finger, and feel objects.
  • Must possess auditory and visual acuity for tracking and inspection tasks.
