About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide personalized service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our banking products and services, including personal and small business lending, retail investments, and everyday banking.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our branch team to achieve business objectives and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Risk Management: Apply sound risk management principles to ensure the quality of our lending portfolio and protect the Bank's assets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and lending policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
