We are in search of a Key Account Manager who embodies a proactive approach and possesses exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. This role entails the responsibility of identifying, nurturing, and expanding our strategic partnerships within the MRI Safety sector. Success in this position hinges on the ability to forge strong relationships across the industry, particularly with Radiology professionals at all levels, including executive leadership, who utilize Metrasens technology in the healthcare MRI landscape.

The Key Account Manager will act as a subject matter expert, focusing on crafting solutions that enhance safety within MRI environments while collaborating with Radiology personnel and industry specialists to promote best practices. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, customer-centric, growth-focused, and results-driven.

This position is crucial for the success of Metrasens' MRI business unit. The successful applicant will excel in a dynamic, high-performance setting where continuous learning is encouraged. Responsibilities will encompass managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, targeting a diverse range of healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strategic opportunities with various businesses and market segments to cultivate partnerships that generate new revenue streams and enhance existing relationships for Metrasens products.
  • Consistently meet and surpass activity KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Acquire new business that aligns with productivity targets and objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan with reliable forecasts to be reviewed regularly.
  • Establish a robust sales pipeline that is 3-5 times the defined revenue goals.
  • Conduct thorough product demonstrations, both virtually and on-site, for new and existing MRI facilities.
  • Engage in meticulous research and planning using online databases focused on the new construction market.
  • Manage a complex sales process involving RFIs, RFPs, and NDAs, while overseeing contract management processes, including ongoing cost and price analysis.
  • Effectively sell to all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Balance market approaches between direct hospital sales, distributor management, and standardization opportunities.
  • Provide product and technical expertise to distributor partners while managing direct sales processes.
  • Achieve or exceed MRI Safety business objectives in alignment with Metrasens' operational plans.
  • Engage technical and operational resources to support activities critical to securing new business.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of opportunities and account information.
Required Qualifications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A positive, winning attitude with a focus on customer and company success.
  • A minimum of five years of proven experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development within the B2B sector.
  • Experience in selling capital equipment in the healthcare sector, particularly in Radiology (MRI), is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in Distributor Management or Strategic Partner Management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close large-scale deployments.
  • Capability to articulate a strategic value proposition at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience managing a technical sales process with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong background in presenting and negotiating with middle management and C-Level executives.
  • A successful track record of exceeding sales targets and business objectives.
Education
  • BA/BS in Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% and reside near a major airport.
