About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Market Manager to lead our retail sales channel in delivering assigned sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales strategy, customer experience, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement retail sales strategies for Cox Communications, serving as a strategic partner in the overall operation of the organization.
  • Lead the Retail Sales Channel: Lead the retail sales channel in delivering assigned sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage Sales Teams: Interview, hire, train, and regularly evaluate the performance of a team of sales professionals, team leaders, and administrative support staff.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Drive sales of Cox products and services while keeping a laser focus on efficient operations to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Own the customer satisfaction performance measurements for the retail sales channel as well as internal customers and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage Store Operations: Ensure store appearance follows ongoing marketing campaigns and meets or exceeds department standards for the assigned planogram.
  • Develop and Administer Budgets: Develop and administer the annual retail and payment center expense budget and the annual retail sales and revenue budget.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel approximately 30% of the time, based on business need, to represent the company and attend meetings.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field, or a different combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: 1+ year of experience in management or a lead role.
  • Safe Driving Record: Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Presentation and Communication Skills: Experience presenting programs, ideas, results, and promotional information to customers/clients, senior leadership, and/or cross-functional groups.
  • Merchandising Experience: Experience in merchandising, including knowledge of local market and industry trends.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience: Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma/Lean tactics in a service environment.
What We Offer

Cox Communications offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $90,000 to $135,000 per year, plus an annual incentive/commission target of $18,696.00. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid days off.
