Key Responsibilities- Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for laboratory systems and automation, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a global team of experts in laboratory systems and automation, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Tech, and Quality, to ensure the effective implementation of laboratory systems and automation solutions.
- Drive innovation and process improvement, leveraging technology and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory operations.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including R&D scientists, Tech teams, and Quality experts, to ensure the successful delivery of laboratory systems and automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business needs and requirements of the organization, ensuring that laboratory systems and automation solutions are aligned with these needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and progress reports on laboratory systems and automation initiatives.
- Operational Technology (OT) Officer
- Act as the OT Officer for the organization, ensuring that OT risk is appropriately assessed, prioritized, and mitigated across the business area.
- Develop and implement OT cybersecurity standards and controls, ensuring that these are aligned with the company's overall cybersecurity strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of OT cybersecurity controls and compliance.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Experience
- 7+ years of operational experience managing laboratory systems in validated and non-validated environments.
- 3+ years of line management experience leading large multi-site and global teams.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act with a high level of integrity.
- Experience with agile methodology and change management strategies.
