About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Experience Director to join our team at CCMC. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for creating and executing memorable experiences for our residents, while being both creative and strategic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive community event and programming calendar that meets the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Community Engagement: Work closely with the Communications Associate to develop content for community communications, including website, newsletters, promotional materials, and social media accounts.
  • Budget Management: Produce, maintain, and follow an annual budget for activity income and expenses.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations and businesses to benefit residents and the overall community.
  • Amenity Center Operations: Oversee the operation of the amenity center, including rentals.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement general policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Community Clubs and Groups: Create, coordinate, and support community clubs, groups, and committees.
  • Board of Directors Relationship: Establish a strong, professional, and symbiotic relationship with the Board of Directors.
Requirements
  • Flexibility and Availability: This is not an 8-5, Monday-Friday desk job. Qualified candidates must be able to work full-time hours that are flexible and will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and repetitively lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with a resident board and committee members, as well as volunteers.
  • Experience and Education: Candidates should have 3-4 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or other related experience and 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications. A Bachelor's Degree or higher, ideally in recreation, communications, journalism, or community development from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Certifications and Background Check: Must pass pre-employment drug screen, driving record, and background check.
