Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:

    Serve as the final checkpoint to uphold culinary excellence.
  • Order Coordination:
    Organize and prioritize food orders while collaborating closely with the kitchen team.
    Ensure effective communication for timely and precise order fulfillment.
  • Timing and Efficiency:
    Track the timing of food orders to assure prompt delivery.
    Work in conjunction with kitchen and serving staff to facilitate efficient service flow.
  • Meal Delivery:
    Occasionally transport food directly to tables, ensuring accuracy and speed.
    Maintain a professional demeanor and precise execution in this capacity.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Swiftly address and resolve any challenges arising in the kitchen or with orders.
    Proactively identify and tackle obstacles to ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff for seamless coordination.
    Assist in various areas of the restaurant during peak business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    Preferred experience as a food service coordinator or in a similar capacity.
    Basic proficiency in oral and written English communication skills.
    Familiarity with restaurant menus and food preparation methods.
    Ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism.
    Strong organizational capabilities and multitasking skills.
    A friendly and positive attitude.
    Punctuality and dependable attendance.
    Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Desirable:
    High School diploma or equivalent.
    Basic knowledge of Spanish.
    Food Handler Certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Stand and/or walk continuously during the shift.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Key Job Functions:

  • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with all policies and service procedures.
  • Complete understanding of all menus and restaurant details.
  • Execute all opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support other restaurant staff as needed.
