Job Overview

The Sales Account Manager (SAM) is tasked with overseeing the sales development within their designated portfolio of clients. By leveraging strong customer relationship management skills and data-driven selling techniques, the Sales Account Manager aims to achieve or surpass their annual business targets while fostering the long-term expansion of Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc within that client portfolio. This role also necessitates the effective implementation of the commercial strategy across various business channels.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drives sales growth within assigned accounts through the execution of commercial strategies and agreements
  • Cultivates and sustains profitable customer relationships
  • Conducts and finalizes all sales interactions on a daily basis
  • Guarantees the execution of all pre-sold/mandatory elements in the outlet for the full duration of the program
  • Promotes additional packages, displays, and equipment
  • Ensures a positive return on investment for the Company on all sold-in elements
  • Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders, including The Center of Support, as well as other field sales and distribution teams

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior sales experience preferred
  • Experience in the food/beverage sector preferred
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling sales presentations is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up capabilities
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient in various computer applications
  • Ability to utilize and comprehend mobile applications
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and holidays

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge gained through 1 to 3 years of work experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must have and maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by the company
  • Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during work hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
