Key Responsibilities

Cash Handling & Customer Service

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Provide personalized service and consistently seek opportunities to impress customers.
  • Handle a variety of financial transactions accurately, including check cashing and cash deposits.
  • Maintain precise records in accordance with bank policies.
  • Address customer inquiries with a positive attitude, regardless of complexity.
  • Adhere to all security protocols and banking regulations relevant to your role.
  • Safeguard branch and customer cash in line with security procedures.

Product Referrals

  • Engage in financial discussions to identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions.
  • Recognize opportunities for referrals to enhance customer relationships.
  • Actively promote bank products and services.
  • Participate in branch or bank-wide initiatives.
  • Document and submit customer referrals and reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve both individual and collective goals.
Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Teller I Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience in cash handling and customer service.

Teller II Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in cash handling and customer service.
  • 1+ years of experience in a financial institution or as a Teller.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks and lift items up to 20 pounds.
  • Proficient in using standard office equipment, including phones and computers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all customers.
  • Ability to read and comprehend bank-related documents.
  • Capability to work in a typical office environment, sitting for extended periods as needed.
