About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op to join our IT team at BMW Group. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, contribute to process improvements, and develop your skills in IT applications implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business functions and IT teams to identify and implement process changes.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve business collaboration and project management.
  • Conduct simulations to provide data for future decision-making.
  • Implement Virtual Reality (VR) solutions.
  • Support project planning, steering, and coordination.
  • Run small projects, including documentation, evaluation, problem-solving, and reporting.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements using agile and lean methodologies.
  • Support major projects spanning the entire plant.
  • Perform tasks related to the agile transformation roadmap.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mind with an openness to innovative ideas.
  • IT background preferred.
  • German skills preferred.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Able to complete 3 work terms for Co-op positions.
  • Able to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
