Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with team members and management while demonstrating a professional and cooperative demeanor. The primary objective of this role is to drive continuous enhancements in safety, quality, business operations, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on minimizing process waste.

Utilizing structured quality improvement methodologies is essential. The Quality Assurance Specialist will design new workflows and optimize existing ones to achieve outcomes that align with safety, quality, and business standards.

Your Contributions:
- Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness
- Train and facilitate team members in process enhancement techniques
- Identify and implement six-sigma initiatives
- Lead teams in applying the six sigma DMAIC framework to eliminate inefficiencies
- Utilize fundamental process improvement tools within the six sigma DMAIC model, including Project Charter, Process Mapping, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, and more
- Design and refine process inputs to achieve desired results
- Enhance processes to reduce variability and eliminate anomalies
- Establish control plans to maintain improvements
- Conduct process capability assessments internally and externally
- Analyze process limitations and create standards to address them
- Manage large-scale process improvement projects using project management software
- Revise procedures to facilitate process enhancements
- Research and benchmark industry practices for validation assessments
- Implement effective corrective and preventive actions using structured planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Team Members, Quality, Engineering, Contracts, Sales, and Manufacturing to enhance processes
- Proactively plan and execute strategies within established timelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as necessary
- Maintain accurate company records and documentation in line with policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of statistical techniques and process improvement methods
- Experience leading 8D and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in structured problem-solving techniques and computer applications
- Familiarity with MS Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and statistical software
- A collaborative team player eager to embrace new challenges
