About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our team at BMW Group. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of integrated supply chain solutions to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of parts and materials to our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of material control strategies to minimize forecast errors, yield losses, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Design and implement visualization tools and dashboards to support material planning and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve planning efficiencies.
  • Support the development of concepts and IT solutions to enhance daily tasks and improve supply chain performance.
  • Conduct data analytics and visualization to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track supply chain performance.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives, such as reducing CO2 emissions through the use of electric trucks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills, with experience using Power BI, SQL, and Data Lake a plus.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for Co-op positions.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
