Lead Retail Specialist

Under general supervision, the Senior Retail Associate offers support and education to patients with medical cannabis requirements. Associates assist each patient to ensure they receive the appropriate medication tailored to their specific health conditions. The Senior Retail Associate may also serve as the manager on duty, key holder, or agent in charge.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all intake forms and documentation are accurately completed and properly filed, subsequently entering all relevant information into the system for future reference.
- Verifying patient purchase limits before allowing entry into the consultation area and notifying the relevant pharmacist of these limits.
- Delivering outstanding customer service by fostering and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Responding to inquiries from customers regarding products, training, and general information via calls or emails.
- Managing patient records utilizing Biotrack.
- Updating and maintaining databases as necessary.
- Processing customer orders efficiently.
- Responsible for the promotion and sale of all products offered by The Cannabist.
- Building and sustaining a high level of trust and integrity for specific products.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of direct customer service experience is required.
- Retail experience is preferred.
- Experience as a key holder or lead is preferred.
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
- Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.
FLSA status: Non-exempt
Additional Abilities Required:
- While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
