Under general supervision, the Senior Retail Associate offers guidance and education to patients with medical marijuana requirements. Associates assist each patient to ensure they receive the appropriate medication tailored to their specific illness and medical condition. The Senior Retail Associate may hold a state designation as the manager on duty, key holder, or agent in charge.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all intake forms and related documentation are accurately completed and properly filed, followed by entering all relevant information into the system for future reference.
- Verifying patient purchase limits prior to entry into the consultation area and notifying the appropriate pharmacist of such limits.
- Delivering exceptional customer service by fostering and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Responding to inquiries from customers regarding products, training, and general information via calls or emails.
- Managing patient records utilizing Biotrack.
- Updating and maintaining databases as necessary.
- Processing customer orders efficiently.
- Responsible for the sales and promotion of all products offered by The Cannabist Company.
- Building and sustaining a high level of integrity and trust for specific products.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of direct customer service experience is required.
- Retail experience is preferred.
- Experience as a key holder or lead is preferred.
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
- Proficient understanding of and experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.
FLSA status: Non-exempt
Additional Abilities Required:
- While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Must be able to communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
