Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven project professional to join our team as a Senior Software Implementation Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software deployment, encompassing requirements analysis, environment configuration, installation, training, and ongoing support.

The Software Implementation Specialist will play a pivotal role within the Litigation team, responsible for delivering contracted software products and services, including reports and business rules. This position requires direct interaction with clients, serving as the primary representative of Journal Technologies, and managing various aspects of the configuration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure case management software utilizing the built-in administrative user interface, including forms, searches, and workflows.
  • Develop business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity.
  • Collect specifications and oversee data conversion processes.
  • Engage in document and report specification gathering, development, and review.
  • Provide onsite administrative and user training, along with go-live support.
  • Demonstrate fluency in Java.
  • Possess knowledge of Windows Server environments and networking.
  • Understand interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Implementation Specialist in a comparable environment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL or Oracle databases, and reporting tools such as Jasper or Crystal Reports.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
