This position involves providing comprehensive support to the Senior Benefits Manager while ensuring the utmost confidentiality of sensitive information.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of benefits enrollment data within the benefits management system.
  • Facilitate new-hire orientation and effectively communicate the benefits available to employees.
  • Conduct quality audits of benefit-related information.
  • Guide employees to appropriate resources for benefit claims and plan modifications.
  • Ensure timely distribution and accuracy of benefits enrollment materials.
  • Assist employees with benefit modifications due to life changes throughout the year.
  • Address inquiries from managers and employees regarding plan details, enrollment processes, and status changes.
  • Collaborate with benefits consultants and vendors to guarantee the precise and timely provision of benefits.
  • Support 401(k) inquiries and perform auditing tasks.
  • Process requests for fitness reimbursement benefits.
  • Coordinate on-site meetings related to benefits.
  • Create and distribute employee communications regarding benefits.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all benefit-related documentation.
  • Review and process health and welfare billing invoices for payment.
  • Assist with all aspects of Open Enrollment, including communications, audits, and employee inquiries.
  • Provide support for wellness initiatives and on-site events.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with benefits policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field; relevant experience or certifications may substitute for formal education. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and an understanding of the legal frameworks surrounding employee benefits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
  • Knowledge of Businessolver, ADP, TalentSpace, and SAP-HCM is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.
