Position Overview:

As a Facilities Operations Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in enhancing the work environment for our staff by actively seeking improvements in our operational processes. Daily Responsibilities:

  • Team Coordination: Begin your day with a team briefing to review priorities, safety updates, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
  • Work Order Oversight: Assess, prioritize, and delegate work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance to technicians.
  • Facility Inspections: Perform walkthroughs to identify and resolve maintenance challenges, equipment issues, safety risks, and cleanliness matters.
  • Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations established by C&W Services and relevant authorities.
  • Data Review and Reporting: Evaluate maintenance data and performance indicators to pinpoint areas for improvement and prepare reports for management.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and support maintenance technicians, conduct performance assessments, and provide training and guidance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Leadership Background: A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role is essential, showcasing expertise in managing key performance indicators and overseeing maintenance operations. Proven ability to motivate and lead a team is critical.
  • Commitment to Safety: Strong knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in maintenance operations. Experience in safety training and audits is advantageous.
  • Educational Background: A 4-year degree plus 3 years of leadership experience, or at least 5 years of leadership experience in lieu of a degree. Relevant degrees or certifications in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, facilities management, or related fields are beneficial.

Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $116,000 annually, with a performance-based bonus.
  • Work Shifts: 4x12-hour shifts, either 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM or 4:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Shifts include Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. Flexibility is required.
