Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School is in search of a meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized educational support specialist to enhance our dedicated team.
In this role, you will significantly influence our students' educational journeys by guiding small groups, assisting with material comprehension on an individual basis, and overseeing their academic tasks.
Your responsibilities will include providing instructional support, classroom assistance, and the application of effective educational strategies under the guidance of classroom educators and/or other school staff.
A high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct is anticipated, aligning with the responsibilities and duties of an educational support specialist.
Qualifications:
An associate degree or higher, or a minimum of two years of post-secondary education equivalent to at least 48 credit hours from an accredited institution, or successful completion of a recognized Massachusetts-endorsed assessment such as Parapro or WorkKeys.
Experience working with students requiring special education services in educational environments is essential. Familiarity with ABA practices and data tracking is preferred, along with the ability to follow and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
