About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at JWCH Institute. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative tasks related to various certification processes, including endorsements, renewals, and examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organize, maintain, and verify the credentials of healthcare practitioners in a healthcare facility.
  2. Prepare documents for review and approval by the credentialing committee.
  3. Coordinate the provider appointment process across all health centers.
  4. Process certification and examination applications.
  5. Maintain a computerized database of records related to membership, continuing education, certification, disciplinary actions, and certification revocations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a credentialing, administrative, or healthcare-related role.
  • Familiarity with healthcare provider credentialing, privileging, and certification standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience managing data in spreadsheets.
