Job Overview:

Credentialing Clerks play a vital role in ensuring that healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications to practice medicine. As a Credentialing Clerk at MedPOINT Management, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with CVO, credentialing staff, and provider services to ensure timely processing of credentialing applications.
  2. Prepare and distribute correspondence, including packets, applications, contracts, and other documents.
  3. Manage the credentialing queue, respond to incoming calls, and review/distribute incoming mail.
  4. Perform online searches and verifications, update spreadsheets, and make follow-up calls to providers, health plans, and CVO.
  5. Collaborate with provider services department to set up profiles for new provider contracts and enter data into sPHERICAL Solutions.
  6. Assist coordinators with task completion and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, primarily Word and Excel 2013 or higher.
  • Ability to multitask and work well as a team.
Salary Range:

$60,000 - $70,000 per year.
