Position Overview: Central Catholic High School is in search of a dedicated Campus Safety Coordinator. This role requires a proactive presence on campus, fostering open and effective communication with students, parents, staff, and visitors while exemplifying positive behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entry and sign-in protocols for all visitors and parents.
  • Supervise and monitor school premises during student arrival and departure.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus and utilize the school's internal surveillance system.
  • Maintain and document safety and security logs and reports.
  • Effectively manage conflicts using sound judgment.
  • Respond to emergencies and enforce the school's code of conduct as necessary.
  • Establish priorities and work autonomously to achieve objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Participate in safety drills and real emergency situations, including fire, tornado, lockdown, or evacuation.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in all matters related to the role.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  2. A high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of experience in a security role.
  3. A valid driver's license.
  4. Successful completion of a BCI/FBI background check prior to employment.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to supporting the mission and vision of Central Catholic High School.
