Job Description

General Motors is seeking a highly skilled Senior Connectivity Invoice Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Global Mobile Network & Strategic Partnerships team, you will be responsible for managing vendors and analyzing cellular activity to make insightful conclusions about expenses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in problem-solving, data analysis, and presentation. You will be responsible for validating invoices, reconciling data extracts, and identifying errors or missing charges. You will also be expected to develop financial forecasts and business cases, and support monthly and annual budget reviews with leadership.

This is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to report to the Global Technical Center in Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum. You will be working with a team of experienced professionals, and will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendors and analyze cellular activity to make insightful conclusions about expenses
  • Validate invoices, reconcile data extracts, and identify errors or missing charges
  • Develop financial forecasts and business cases
  • Support monthly and annual budget reviews with leadership
  • Identify and drive to closure any opportunities for invoice claims and operational efficiencies/savings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or other related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with invoice or data analysis and presentation of insights with large-scale, enterprise-level data
  • Strong technical background, or experience in problem-solving to identify, prioritize, and communicate technical issues from point of service consumption to back-office service invoice
  • 2+ years SQL read/writing, Cognos scheduling, PowerBI visualization
  • Strong MS Excel skills: filtering/sorting, pivot tables, external file links, line and stacked bar charting, formatting
