Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in driving business value and positive outcomes by working closely with Credit Admin / Credit Risk / Model Dev team leaders and specialists to understand business goals and needs. This role is responsible for developing consistent and coherent sets of analytical tools, including design, development, implementation, and control designs for credit risk measurement, management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and models to support credit risk measurement, management, and reporting.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate these into requirements and solution designs.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend changes to improve outcomes.
  • Build and maintain documentation libraries and catalogs to ensure that documentation is available upon request.
  • Monitor data environment builds, executions, and change developments.
  • Develop quantitative modeling, including loss forecasting, predictive risk rating models, stress testing, and profitability analysis.
  • Take the lead in developing and implementing predictive analytical tools, ad hoc analyses, visual/interactive reporting, segmentation analysis, and process automation.
  • Translate business goals, user needs, and process improvements into data management functions and requirements.
  • Explain the value, capabilities, and limitations of data systems to business managers and users.
  • Lead individual and group project designs, wireframes, and mockups of analytic dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, stack rankings, and reports.
  • Analyze and structure data to implement enterprise data management goals.
  • Ensure data quality by validating data to assess fitness for use and identifying and directing remediation of issues.
  • Follow Data Governance procedures to ensure that data and data-based processes are appropriately managed.
  • Work with Enterprise data warehouse, analytical cubes, metadata, and master data management to provide business insights for decision making.
  • Analyze and complete project requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Statistics, or a Quantitative field, or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Quantitative field, or Information Technology with relevant experience.
  • 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in Banking or Financial Institution experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Credit / Current Expected Credit Loss / Credit Portfolio Monitoring.
  • 3 years of experience in Knowledge of SQL, Power/BI, Python, R.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CBAP (or equivalent) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Data Scientist Associate or equivalent.
