A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a correctional setting. As a Correctional Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to inmates in a secure and controlled environment.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience working in a correctional setting. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to inmates, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing wound care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Experience working in a correctional setting, preferably in a nursing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
