Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients in a correctional facility setting.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and recording medical information.
  • Assess patients' conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient charts and medical reports.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice.

Work Schedule:

The Registered Nurse will work a full-time schedule, with rotating weekends and holiday rotation. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a $2 night shift differential.
