Nurse Practitioner

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Warren County Jail in Lebanon, Ohio.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As a Registered Nurse with VitalCore, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
