- Prepare public records requests, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state retention laws.
- Operate computerized records management systems, maintain files, and perform bookkeeping duties.
- Process traffic citation data, maintain computer skills, and operate office equipment.
- Inventory and requisition supplies, receive and store materials, and provide clerical support as needed.
- Represent Ravalli County in meetings and training sessions, providing information and answering questions.
- Maintain confidential information, serve as a backup in other areas of administration, and perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of clerical experience preferred.
- Valid Montana driver's license required.
- CJIN certification required when applicable.
- Ability to pass RCSO selection process requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mathematical, keyboarding, and computer skills required.
The Administrative Clerk will work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional travel to attend meetings or training sessions, and extended periods of time working with computers and monitors.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
