Quality Manager Job Description

Bollinger Motors is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the plant quality team, including quality engineers and technicians.
  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes, including incoming receiving QC review and QOS (quality operating system) development.
  • Support product launches, including APQP, control plan development, and quality issue resolution at supplier sites.
  • Lead deployment of quality performance requirements and escalate significant issues to management promptly.
  • Support robust supplier Failure Mode Avoidance through PFMEA, CP, and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
  • Drive compliance to all organizational and corporate training requirements and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a quality function.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Kaizen, 5S, Poka-yoke, FMEA, and 8D methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and develop a team of employees to maintain peak performance and employee satisfaction.
