Responsibilities

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM. Rotating night and weekend coverage may be required.

Key Duties: The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing anesthesia support services in conjunction with surgical and medical procedures.
  • Ensuring all anesthesia services comply with the standards set by relevant authorities.
  • Setting up anesthesia equipment in operating rooms, including low-level disinfection and maintaining an organized anesthesia cart.
  • Assisting in the placement of IV lines and various invasive monitors under the supervision of credentialed practitioners.
  • Responding promptly to anesthesia supply and equipment requests during surgical procedures.
  • Developing familiarity with anesthesia machines and related equipment for quality control and troubleshooting.
  • Maintaining adherence to infection control policies and ensuring proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Participating in ongoing training and collaboration with colleagues to enhance patient safety and care.
  • Maintaining required documentation and security clearance for access to necessary systems.
  • Providing services in a high-pressure environment while ensuring critical accuracy.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: High School diploma required.

* Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Technologist is necessary.

* Certification: ASATT certification is preferred but not mandatory.

* Life Support Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

* Security: Candidates must pass a Government background check and obtain a security clearance.

Pay Scale: Compensation ranges from $38.00/hr to $48.00/hr, based on qualifications and experience.
