- Work closely with Anesthesiologists to determine the most suitable anesthesia plans based on patient evaluations.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of patient-specific needs and provide tailored anesthesia care.
- Regularly inspect anesthesia equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Prepare and administer medications in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patients during procedures to maintain stability and respond to any complications.
- Perform postoperative evaluations within 24 hours to ensure recovery.
- Support the development of student nurse anesthetists through mentorship.
- Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and adhere to departmental protocols.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
- Graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse License in California.
- Hold certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in California.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist National Certification.
- Proven experience in administering anesthesia for complex procedures, including effective monitoring and fluid management across various age groups.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and technical skills as outlined by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
- Strong abilities in documentation, equipment management, and staff training.
Annual salary range: $150,000 to $205,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
